Master kite maker Jiehua Sun started to fly and make kites when he was 8 years old. As he grew and received formal education in both traditional and modern sciences, he became more fascinated in the beauty of Chinese art of kitemaking.

Equipped with both folk art as well as modern science, Mr. Sun makes wonderful traditional kites showing magnificent Chinese style. His artwork has received appraisal inside China and from abroad.
